Classic Corner Karaoke Contest
Contest Starts: Wednesday March 4, 2009
Rules for the Contest
- The contest will run 9 Weeks; 8 weeks of qualifying
rounds and 1 week of finals
- Anyone can sign up for the contest by filling out a
Registration slip and dropping it in the registration bowl or by registering a
song at 10:00pm on contest nights.
- At the end of the 8 qualifying weeks, the three lowest
scores of each contestant will be dropped.
- A Contestant who does not sing in a qualifying round
will receive a “0” for that day; this will count as a low score that can be
dropped.
- Each of the three judges will award scores on a 1-10
basis for a possible score of 30 for each of the 10 nights. The scoring will
be based on Three categories:
A. Singing Voice
B. Performance
C. Audience participation
Each night 1 point will be awarded to 1
contestant based on audience voting. This point will be added to the overall
score.
- Finalists are selected from the contestants with the
highest average scores. The number of finalists will be determined by the
number of contestants.
- We are giving away thousands of dollars worth of prizes
and everyone will have a chance.
- You will be required to sing a different song each week
that you are qualifying.
- Contestants must use music provided by Gunn Show
Entertainment.
- We will be drawing prizes weekly from that week’s
contestants, separate from the 7 overall grand prize places.
- Contestants MUST BE 18 AND OVER to participate.
